What is Lubricant Additives ?

           The substance which are added to engine oil, fuel or coolant to improve their properties is known as additive.

• Without additive neither fuel nor oil would be able to deliver required power.
• It add he extra properties in Lubricant.

Function of Lubricant Additives :-

1. Protect the metal surface from sludge formation 
2. Control the Temperature 
3. Prevent from Oxidation of metallic parts. 
4. Protect from Corrosion 
5. Control the viscosity of Lubricant Oil
