AUTOCAD COORDINATE SYSTEM
TYPE OF COORDINATE SYSTEM USED IN AUTOCAD
There are three types of coordinates system used in AutoCAD :-
1) Absolute Coordinates System :-
In this coordinate system all input points specify by standard Cartesian coordinates x and y.- For using absolute coordinate, enter points by typing x and y coordinate point (x,y).
Using Procedure of Absolute coordinates system :-
First of all choose a command for example
Choose LINE command: L [Enter]
Specify line starting point A: 0,0 [Enter]
Specify line next point B: 2,2 [Enter]
Specify line other next point C: 2,3 [Enter]

2) Relative Coordinates System :-
- In this if you specify first points then you can specify next points coordinate with compare or relative from the previous points.
- The relative coordinate started with symbol "@" .
- In relative coordinate, specify net point by typing @x,y
Using Procedure of Relative coordinates system :-
Choose LINE command: L [Enter]
Specify line starting point A: 0,0 [Enter]
Specify line next point B: @2,2 [Enter]
Specify line other next point C: @0,1 [Enter]
3) Polar Coordinates System :-
- This coordinates used when you need to draw the next points at specify angle.
- It is entered in the form of Distance and Angle.
- It is also started with symbol "@".
- In this specify net point by typing @distance<angle.
Using Procedure of Polar coordinates system :-
